Asian Surprise

Asian Surprise

Chinese takeout is as American as reruns of Seinfeld! But why not learn to make your own Asian delights?

Chef James Brockman and I have picked our favorite Chinese dishes and added an extra incentive: we've cut down the fat and reduced the calories without losing a pinch of flavor. And we've made the recipes easy! Once you get a handle on these dishes, you'll be able to whip up your own Asian Surprise before the delivery guy arrives. (And who doesn't love getting his or her own custom-made fortune cookie?)

The chicken mozzarello roll ups are great. The recipe wasn't difficule to prepare and it was a hit with my family. Just be sure to flatten the chicken breast fairly thin so that they won't be hard to roll and secure.
