Save time and money by buying premade pizza dough and impress guests by topping with drizzled chocolate, fresh mint or a fanned strawberry.

premade pizza dough

1 pt

fresh strawberries

1

pineapple, cleaned

2

kiwi fruits, peeled

1 jar

strawberry jam (16 oz)

1 pkg

chocolate morsels (12 oz)*

*Can also use a standard chocolate bar (broken into bite-size pieces)

Step 1

On the day of cooking, cut fruit into pieces large enough not to fall through the grill, or place a piece of aluminum foil over grill.

Step 2

Spray the fruit lightly with cooking spray.

Step 3

Grill fruit until grill marks appear. Set fruit aside and prepare the premade pizza crust, as directed, for the grill.

Step 4

Start with a very low fire and clean grill.

Step 5

Spray the disks of pizza dough with cooking spray and place on the grill. The dough will cook in about 3-5 minutes.

Turn the dough over and spread with strawberry jam (or, use your own favorite jam), then add chocolate morsels and grilled fruit.

Step 7

Cook on grill until melted and hot, about 4-5 more minutes. Serve immediately.


Chef’s Note

For a less caloric dessert, use the jam and chocolate sparingly, or skip the jam altogether.
